Chick Downtown

So, finally, the last post in my Online Stores Features.

Are you ready?! Can you handle it?!

CHICK

DOWNTOWN

This being me we're speaking of, I mainly clicked on the ads because the clothes looked really cool, so I checked it out, and to my surprise, the rest of the clothes were just as good, if not better, looking.

This shop is one of the pricier ones, featuring designer items, along with originals, but as far as I can see, it's totally worth it.

I managed to pick out hundreds of items I wanted to display for this post, but I curbed it down to about ten...or fifteen...maybe more?

And believe me, even that was hard!

DRESSES

These are in the sale section, from left to right: Madison Marcus Navy Lattice V Dress $221; Milly Beaded Halter Dress $245

These are in the sale section, from left to right: Foley+Corrina Lotus Cord Dress $261.80; Robert Rodriquez Mocha Butterfly Dress $423.50

These last two are so girlish and pretty pink, I think I HAVE to include them, they scream summer to me:

These are in the regular clothing section, from left to right: Alice+Olivia Peach Madison Dress $440; Alice+Olivia Taylor Tiered Dress $484.00

SKIRTS

These are in the regular clothing section, from left to right: Plastic Island Pleated A-Line Mini Skirt $137; Plastic Island Tiered Skirt $128

SHIRTS

You can find these in the regular clothing section, from left to right: Joie Beautiful Girls Tunic $288; C&C California Go Paperless Organic Tee $60

Fulfilling a Promise....

Ummm...heh heh.... I said that I would put up the post about FreePeople tomorrow...about five days ago....

Yeah... akward....

I have no chocolate to ward you off this time, so I'll just get down to it:

FREE PEOPLE

Like ModCloth, what made me make with the clicky clicks was the name. Doesn't Free People just sound like a cool floaty name? Plus, the ads showed really pretty clothes.

Now, in all actuality, Free People is not exclusively an online store, in fact it has several locations in the country. However, none of them is in my state, so it's an online store to me, which kind of bums me out.

It's sister store is one most of us is probably familiar with: Urban Outfitters, which is probably one of my favorite stores ever.

When I went to the site to find items to feature in this post, I was saddened to find that most of the clothes I had admired were no longer being shown on the site, and most of the clothes up there now, do not really appeal to my tastes.

However, I will always find shoes and bags that I adore, so I will be featuring those below:

From Left to Right: Maraco Fringe Sandal $118.00; Stonewashed Leather Boot by Humanoid $688.00

From Left to Right:Fringe Frontier Bag $688.00; Tie Dye Beach Tote $98.00

You can find all of these items, and a listing of stores here: Here!

ENJOY!

So I Lied...So Sue Me! I Bring Offerings in the Form of Chocolate

It's not like anyone's reading this anyone, lol. I swore, something like two weeks ago, to update the very next day. I did not. Oh well. I have chocolate!!

My birthday is in two days, and I am VERY excited about it! My friends already gave me gifts, a couple of days early, 'cause it's summer, and I don't know when I'll see them, because I'm a working girl now. I got a VERY cute Woodstock teeshirt, a giftcard, a new book to read, and some M&M's, my favorite American chocolate.

But my favorite gift came in the form of a 1 oz. chocolate bar. Chocolate period makes me very happy, but this chocolate made me ecstatic. I am half American, half Australian, with my mother being Australian, and very much in touch with her/my family down under, so as such, I have had the extrememe pleasure of indulging in Australian sweets, which are very, VERY good.

The chocolate bar that my friend gave me was from a New Zealand company, and when I saw that, I literally said, 'Now THAT'S the good stuff'. Swear to God.

The company that makes it is called Bloomsberry & Co. And I would strongly suggest visiting their site, because it is ADORABLE! You can check it out Here.

Their chocolates are also extremely to the max, adorable. The bar I got was Emergency Chocolate, you can see it here (Click on it to see a bigger photo.):

Isn't the 'For Immediate Relief of' tres cute?

Here are some of the other one's that I spied with my little eye (Again, do the little clicky-click to see them bigger):

"Hi, my name is Lisa and I'm a chocolate addict."
Tee Hee

Hey! Where'd it go?!

Probably my favorite, read the Directions for Use, and then proceed to crack up with laughter.

Which one is your favorite? Or better yet, go to the site, and either post pictures of your favorite on your blog, and tell me! Inquiring minds want to know! Than, when your done, find where they sell them, and find out for yourself that they not only look good, but they taste GREAT!

P.S: Blogger's promise, the post that I was SUPPOSED to put up here, about FreePeople, my second favorite online shop, will be up tomorrow.

Peace, Love, and Rock N' Roll
